Ebara Scores Prelude FLNG Job

Ebara International Corporation said that it has been awarded the contract to supply 10 units (9 pumps and 1 expander) for the Shell Prelude project.

The contract was awarded by Technip, part of the Technip-Samsung consortium who is building the facility for Shell.

The planned location for Shell Prelude is in the Browse Basin of Australia and will be a groundbreaking achievement in the world of Floating LNG.

Expected production of the Shell facility is planned around 5.3 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of liquids: 3.6 mtpa of LNG, 1.3 mtpa of condensate and 0.4 mtpa of LPG.
