On August 8, CNPC President Zhou Jiping met with Chevron Chairman and Chief Executive Officer John S. Watson in Beijing.
They exchanged views on deepening cooperation between the two companies, CNPC said in a statement.
PetroChina Vice Presidents Zhao Zhengzhang and Bo Qiliang, and CNPC Vice-Chief Economist Wang Lihua were present at the meeting, the company added.
