Gazprom, Russian Gas giant announced plans for launching of an LNG production facility in Vladivostok in 2016-2017, reports the Prime.
“In 2016-2017, we plan to launch a new LNG plant in Vladivostok and consider the possibility of creating other facilities in this region,” Alexey Miller , CEO of Gazprom said on Friday.
Gazprom also plans to complete a feasibility study on the Chayandinskoye field in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and building of a pipeline to Vladivostok in August, said Miller.
CEO also pointed out that LNG supplies were the company’s priority for the eastern route.
