Indian Oil Corporation said that Dr. S. C. Khuntia, Addl. Secretary & Financial Adviser, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India has been appointed as Director of the company.
IndianOil is India’s national oil company with business interests straddling the entire hydrocarbon value chain – from refining, pipeline transportation and marketing of petroleum products to exploration & production of crude oil & gas, marketing of natural gas and petrochemicals.
The company alos plans to build a 5 Mtpa liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Chennai by 2015, with Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO).
