The ten regional electric power companies in Japan consumed 44,150,291 mt of LNG in January-November period, a year-on-year rise of 19 percent, according to the Federation of Electric Power Companies of Japan (FEPC).
The companies received 4,909,371 mt of LNG in November, an increase of 48.4% compared to the same period last year, FEPC said in a report today.
Japan’s 10 power companies consumed 23 percent more LNG in September from a year earlier.
