LNG cargo expected at Port of Rotterdam

The Port of Rotterdam, Europe’s largest port, is about to receive an LNG cargo from Norway’s Hammerfest LNG export terminal .

LNG carrier Arctic Princess, with the capacity of 147,980 cbm, set sail early Tuesday and is scheduled for arrival tomorrow, August 9, at the Gate LNG terminal, port data reveals.

The Gate terminal, the first and only LNG receiving and regasification facility in the Netherlands, received 313,000 tonnes of LNG in the first half of 2014, a 413 percent rise compared with the same period last year.
