Trinidad Exports LNG Cargo

Trinidad and Tobago’s Point Fortin LNG terminal shipped a cargo of liquefied natural gas to Spain on August 23, according to shipping data.

The cargo is being hauled by the Madrid Spirit, a 135,423 cubic-meter tanker, and it is due to arrive at the Gibraltar terminal on August 12.

Trinidad and Tobago’s Point Fortin LNG terminal is one of the world’s largest producers of liquefied natural gas and the plant consists of four trains.

The plant has a capacity of 15.5 million mt per annum.
