Al Jassasiya LNG carrier on its way to Zeebrugge

Belgium’s Zeebrugge liquefied natural gas terminal is expected to receive a cargo of LNG onboard the 145,800 cbm Al Jassasiya  from Qatar on September 22.

The Zeebrugge terminal imports LNG mainly from Qatar. A total of 1,351 ships unloaded at the LNG terminal between the start of commercial activities in 1987 and the end of 2013.

The Zeebrugge LNG terminal can receive 110 carriers per year and serves as a gateway to supply LNG into Northwestern Europe.
