Clough grabs Woodside service contract

Perth-based Clough informed on Wednesday it has been awarded an engineering services contract by LNG operator Woodside.

As a part of an engineering panel, Clough will provide multi-disciplinary services for Woodside.

Under the contract, Clough will be providing concept and feasibility studies, front-end engineering and design (FEED), engineering assessment and review, detailed engineering and production support across all of Woodside’s operated onshore and offshore producing assets, it said in a statement.

Woodside’s assets include the North West Shelf project on the Burrup Peninsula that includes the Karratha gas plant with a production capacity of 16.3 million tons a year from five liquefaction trains.

The company also operates the Pluto LNG facility located near the Karratha gas plant that has a production capacity of 4.3 million tonnes a year.
