DOE extends comment period on SCT&E LNG export application

DOE extends comment period on SCT&E LNG export application

The Office of Fossil Energy of the Department of Energy amended a notice of application filed by SCT&E LNG for a long-term, multi-contract authorization to export LNG to non-FTA countries.

According to the DOE, the amended notice adds two environmental documents to the record in the SCT&E docket.

Due to the fact that interested parties will need time to review the documents, DOE has extended the public comment period from February 17 to March 12, 2015.
