DSME requested to build four VLCCs instead of two LNG carriers

Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering from Korea inform that a client requested to alter a previous order for two LNG carriers. 

According to a stock exchange filing, an Oceania-registered shipowner asked to change an original order from October 2014 for two LNG carriers into an order for four very large crude carriers.

The company informed that the order contract value has also been changed to KRW 430.6 billion from the previous KRW 455.7 billion.
