Engie, La Poste Group to cooperate on natural gas fueling

French LNG player, Engie signed a deal with La Poste Group to cooperate on developing a number of natural gas fueling projects in Europe. 

According to the company’s statement, Engie, through its unit GNVert, and La Poste Group will be cooperation on designing natural gas refueling solutions for La Poste fleets of natural gas and hydrogen-powered vehicles.

Philippe Wahl, Chief Executive Officer of La Poste group, and Isabelle Kocher, Chief Executive Officer of Engie, signed a five-year agreement.

The deal signed on Tuesday also establishes conditions necessary for the development of biomethane fuel, a renewable natural gas fuel from methanization of waste, Engie said.
