London-based LNG engineer Amec Foster Wheeler named Eoin Quirke as president, Asia Pacific with immediate effect.
Based out of Singapore Quirke will report to AFW’s group president for Asia, Middle East, Africa & Southern Europe (AMEASE), Roberto Penno, according to the company’s statement issued on Wednesday.
Before being named to the new position, Quirke served as AMEASE project delivery director and brings 15 years of experience in the Asia Pacific region.
He joined Amec Foster Wheeler in 1989 and held a number of positions in country management and project management.
Roberto Penno, Group President of Amec Foster Wheeler’s Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa and Southern Europe business said the appointment is in line with the company’s goal to strengthen its presence in the Asia Pacific region.
