EWC's Pagbilao LNG hub moving ahead

In a push the Department of Energy’s to reduce the carbon footprint of the Philipines, Energy World Corporation is developing the first LNG hub in the country.

Together with the LNG hub EWC is developing a 650 MW combined cycle power plant that will use the regasified LNG as feedstock.

The LNG terminal’s phase one, currently under construction consists of a 130.000 cubic meter LNG storage tank, re-gasification facility, jetty, and supporting infrastructure.

EWC released a photo update showing how the construction of the facilities on the LNG terminal and the adjacent combined cycle power station is progressing.
