FERC allows fuel gas for Train 1 commissioning at Sabine Pass

The United States Federal Energy Regulatory Commission issued an order granting Cheniere’s request to introduce fuel gas within train 1 and the outside battery limits at its Sabine Pass liquefaction facility, in order to begin commissioning.

Cheniere requested authorization to introduce fuel gas within the areas identified as Phases 3 – 5 with phase 5 to include the fuel gas systems for the refrigerant compressor turbine drivers of the first train.

When commissioned, the train 1 at Cheniere’s Sabine Pass liquefaction facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana will have the capacity to produce 4.5 mtpa of LNG.
