Gazprom, Slovakia Discuss Gas Cooperation

Gazprom’s delegation paid a visit on Thursday to the Slovak Republic.

As part of the visit a meeting was held in Bratislava between Gazprom’s CEO Alexey Miller and Robert Fico, Prime Minister of Slovakia.

Miller and Fico addressed the status of bilateral cooperation in the gas sector. Particularly, high emphasis was placed on Russian pipeline gas supplies to consumers in the Slovak Republic and its transit to third countries.

At the end of the meeting Alexey Miller and Robert Fico confirmed their interest in strengthening the mutually beneficial long-term cooperation.
