French LNG containment specialist GTT has been contracted to design tanks for two liquefied natural gas carriers being built at a South Korean shipyard.

Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) is building the LNG carrier duo for a European shipowner, GTT said in its statement.

Both vessels will be capable of transporting 173,400 cubic meters of the chilled fuel.

GTT noted the vessels, scheduled for delivery by the end of 2020 will both feature NO96 GW technology.
