India: PM Inaugurates Kochi LNG Import Terminal (VIDEO)

Petronet’s second LNG terminal at Puthuvype, Kochi was officially launched on Saturday by India’s Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

The LNG terminal has a capacity of 5 Mtpa and will help in meeting enormous demand of natural gas for power, fertilizers, petrochemicals and various other industries in the Southern States.

Petronet will also supply LNG through road tankers to consumers.
