India’s Dahej terminal gets LNG cargo

India’s largest LNG terminal located at Dahej in Gujarat received a cargo of the chilled gas from Qatar on Thursday.

The LNG was delivered onboard the 155,000 cbm Aseem, which is currently on its way to Qatar’s port of Ras Laffan, shipping data reveals.

Petronet LNG, the operator of the Dahej import terminal, is undergoing expansion works to boost the Dahej terminal’s capacity to 15 Mtpa.

The construction works are expected to be complete by November in 2016.
