Iran Invests Big in IP Gas Pipeline Project

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said Iran has made huge investment in Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline project and has met its obligations in this project.

He noted that Iran is interested in developing relations with neighboring countries, particularly Pakistan.

The Iranian president expressed hope that development of “power transmission network” between the two countries would increase economic cooperation between them.

The Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said his government is determined to revive the IP gas pipeline project.
