Iran Stops Gas Export to Turkey

Iran has halted gas exports to Turkey at the request of the neighboring country, head of the public relations department of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) Majid Boujarzadeh announced on Sunday.

According to the report of the public relations of the (NIGC), Mr. Boujarazdeh said that gas exports to Turkey had been stopped since 23:09 hour on 22nd September.

He went on to say that, the Turkish company BOTAS has announced examination of the pipeline and possible repairs as the reason behind the request.
