Kogas buys 6 LNG cargoes from Australia and Russia

Korea Gas Corp won six LNG cargoes from two tenders launched by North West Shelf project in Australia and Sakhalin project in Russia. 

Sources reveal that Kogas bought all firm cargoes that were offered by both export projects for a price at around $9.50 per million British thermal units, Reuters reports.

The transaction price was lower than the $9.80 per mmBtu as traders believed the spot market price of LNG to be.
