Kogas Dec LNG Sales Drop

Kogas, the world’s largest corporate buyer of LNG, said its LNG sales volume totaled 4.48 million tons in December, down 6.9 percent compared to the same month in 2012.

The company sold 38.68 million mt of LNG last year, compared to 36.55 million mt in 2012.

South Korea’s Kogas has last week formalized a deal to resell 700,000 mt/year of LNG from U.S. Sabine Pass terminal to Total for 20 years starting 2017.
