Perth-based LNG Limited has appointed John Baguley as its Chief Operating Officer based in Houston, Texas.

The appointment is effective June 16, 2017.

Baguley joined LNG Limited in May 2014 as Chief Operating Officer for the company’s Magnolia LNG export project in the U.S. and further expanded his responsibility to the role of Chief Technical Officer in November 2015.

Over his 30 plus years in the energy industry, Baguley has led teams that have designed, built, delivered, and operated some of the most innovative and challenging LNG and related petrochemical projects around the world, LNG Limited said in a statement.

This experience provides the knowledge and background to lead LNG Limited’s operations, which includes oversight of both the Magnolia LNG and Bear Head LNG projects, and the company’s OSMR technology, it added.
