Mizushima LNG Terminal reaches milestone

Mizushima LNG terminal in Japan recently reached a significant milestone since the start of commercial operations in 2006.

Owned by a joint venture between Chugoku Electric Power and JX Nippon Oil & Energy, the terminal received its 100th shipload of LNG on June 20. Trading volume reached more than one million tons a year and the terminal has imported LNG from 10 different countries, a statement by Mizushima LNG said.

The LNG terminal reached another achievement of 3000 days without an accident since it started operations in 2006.
