Peru dispatches LNG cargo to Mexico

Peru sent a cargo of liquefied natural gas on its way to Mexico, Perupetro reveals.

According to the shipping data, the 138,000 cbm Galea LNG carrier set off from the Pampa Melchorita plant on January 8.

Perupetro did not reveal the exact destination of the LNG carrier.

This is a milestone for Peru’s only liquefaction plant as this shipment marks the 250th cargo sent from the facility since the startup in June 2010.
