Peru ships two LNG loads to Mexico

Peru’s only LNG export facility dispatched two more cargoes to Mexico.

The 170,00 cbm SCF Mitre departed from the facility located in Pampa Melchorita on June 20. The second vessel, the 130,000 cbm Galea LNG carrier. departed only two days later on June 22, Perupetro informed, without revealing the final destination of the vessels.

SCF Mitre has delivered its first June cargo to Mexico’s Manzanillo terminal while the last cargo LNG carrier Galea loaded at the Peruvian facility in April was dispatched to Cartagena in Spain.

With these two cargoes Peru’s export facility has dispatched a total of 275 vessels since it started operations in June 2010.
