Peru ships two LNG cargoes

Peru’s only LNG export facility dispatched two cargoes in two days, one on its way to Mexico and one heading for Spain.

The cargo headed to Spain is being transported aboard the 138,000 cbm Galea LNG carrier that departed from Pampa Melchorita on January 24.

The 173 400 cbm Valencia Knutsen LNG carrier has set course for Mexico departing from Peru’s export facility on January 26.

Since its startup in June 2010, Peru’s LNG export plant in Pampa Melchorita dispatched 253 cargoes.
