PGNiG Gas Sales Down in Q1

PGNiG of Poland said its sales of gas were at 4.9 billion cubic meters in the first quarter of 2014, compared to 5.6 billion cubic meters in the same period of 2013.

Natural gas production remained unchanged year on year, at 1.2 billion cubic meters.

In Q1 2014, natural gas imports totaled 2.5 billion cubic meters, against 3.5 billion cubic meters in Q1 2013, with 2 billion cubic meters sourced from countries east of Poland in Q1 2014, compared with 2.8 billion cubic meters in the same quarter of 2013.
