Inpex-operated Ichthys LNG project on Australia’s Western Coast has seen major progress recently.
Project’s FPSO took a major step forward with the start of lower turrets integration. Riser Support Structure (RSS) tower was installed at the Ichthys field and christmas tree systems have been delivered to Australia for testing.
The project is expected to produce 8.4 million tonnes of LNG per year, and onshore facilities’ construction is running according to plan.
Major partners in the project are Total, Tokyo Gas, Osaka Gas, Chubu Electric Power and Toho Gas.
