Poland: Swinoujscie LNG terminal more than 90 pct complete

Poland’s first LNG import terminal, which is being built by Polskie LNG at the Port of Świnoujście, is more than 90 percent complete.

In accordance with long-standing contracts, we will be able to receive first liquefied natural gas in 2015,” Poland’s Minister of Transport Wlodzimierz Karpinski said after a visit to the terminal’s site.

The LNG terminal will have a capacity of 5 billion cbm per annum, which can be later on increased to 7.5 billion cbm annually.
