Q-Flex bound for South Hook LNG

A Q-Flex LNG carrier has been dispatched from Qatar’s Ras Laffan port carrying a cargo destined for the South Hook LNG terminal in the UK.

The 210,157 cbm LNG carrier Umm Al Amad is scheduled to unload at South Hook LNG on October 14, data from the port authority shows.

This will be the fifth October cargo delivered to the liquefied natural gas terminal located on the shores of the Milford Haven waterway.

The South Hook terminal, owned by Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Total can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic meters of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
