Qatar Petroleum boss ends LNG visit to Japan

Qatar Petroleum chief executive and chairman of Qatargas Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi has completed a 2-day visit to Japan during which he held talks with Japanese energy companies on boosting co-operation in LNG trade.

Al-Kaabi was accompanied by senior officials from Qatar Petroleum and Qatargas.

The talks centered on developing relations and cooperation with Japanese customers and partner companies, particularly in the LNG trade, a statement by QP said,

The visit included high-level discussions with executives of a number of Japanese energy giants and banks including Chiyoda, JGC, Japan Bank for International Cooperation, JERA, Chubu Electric, Marubeni, Itochu, LNG Japan, Tohoku Electric etc.
