South Korea’s Incheon LNG terminal, operated by Kogas, is expected to receive a cargo of chilled gas around January 21, shipping data shows.

According to the data, the 138,375 cbm SK Stellar loaded a cargo and departed from Qatar’s Ras Laffan LNG complex on Wednesday.

South Korea’s Kogas, the world’s largest corporate buyer of LNG recently completed the first phase of the construction of its Samcheok LNG receiving terminal located some 250 kilometers east of Seoul.

Once complete, it will be South Korea’s fourth LNG import terminal. The country currently imports the fuel via the Pyeongtaek, Incheon and Tongyeong facilities.
