Qatari LNG on its way to Argentina

Qatar, the world’s largest LNG producer, shipped an LNG cargo from the Port of Ras Laffan to Argentina on Wednesday.

The Magellan Spirit LNG tanker, with a capacity of 165,500 cubic meters, is expected to arrive at the Bahia Blanca LNG terminal on August 28, according to shipping data.

The Bahía Blanca GasPort is South America’s first-ever LNG receiving facility and the world’s second dockside regasification facility.
