Quantum receives new Q-CabLITE CNG module orders

Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide, a provider of natural gas storage systems, integration, and vehicle system technologies, received additional orders for its Q-CabLITE CNG module from a new customer within the Kwik Trip network of transportation providers.

Quantum’s Q-CabLITE and Q-RailLITE™ CNG storage modules are integrated CNG fuel systems for heavy-duty truck applications. The Q-CabLITE product line is installed behind the cab allowing for a larger capacity of CNG.

The Q-RailLITE product line is installed on the traditional open rail-space of the truck. Both systems have integral fuel receptacle(s), pressure gauge, safety systems (including shut-off valves), pressure relief device(s), pressure sensors and fuel metering subsystems (including pressure regulator and thermal management). Both modules also contain Quantum’s proprietary, ultra-light Q-Lite® CNG storage cylinder, which minimizes weight while increasing fuel capacity.
