Quicksilver Resources files export application with NEB

Quicksilver Resources said that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Quicksilver Resources Canada Inc., filed an application with the Canadian National Energy Board to export up to 20 million tons per annum of liquefied natural gas from its Discovery LNG site.

The license, if approved, would permit QRCI to export liquefied natural gas for a period of 25 years starting as early as 2021.

Discovery LNG is a Quicksilver Resources Inc. project involving building and operating natural gas liquefaction, storage and on-loading facilities in Campbell River, British Columbia.
