Report: Argentina's YPF launches nine LNG cargoes tender

YPF of Argentina is reportedly seeking nine cargoes of liquefied natural gas to be delivered from January to March 2016.

Reuters, citing sources, reported that one of the cargoes sought through a tender will be delivered to the Bahia Blanca LNG terminal. The eight remaining cargoes will be shipped to the GNL Escobar.

Bahia Blanca, located some 400 miles south of Buenos Aires has a baseload regasification capacity of 500 mmscf/d while the GNL Escobar with the same baseload capacity is located on the Parana River, some 30 miles outside Buenos Aires.

Deadline for the submission of bids has been set to January 11.
