Santos non-executive director resigns

Australia’s Santos, the operator of the GLNG project on Curtis Island, said on Thursday that non-executive director Roy Franklin will retire from the company’s board.

The retirement is effective September 30, 2017.

Franklin has recently been appointed as Chairman of Premier Oil in the United Kingdom.

He has been a non-executive director at Santos since September 2006.

Santos Chairman Peter Coates thanked Franklin for his 11 years of dedicated service to the Santos board and shareholders, the company said in its statement.
