Shell, Statoil secure one NWS LNG cargo each

Shell, Statoil get one NWS LNG cargo each

Following a tender, North West Shelf LNG export project from Australia, awarded one LNG cargo each to Statoil of Norway and Shell.

Sources close to the matter said that other companies might have won further two cargoes from the four cargo sell tender announced last week, reports Reuters.

Cargoes will be loaded in October and November. Value of the transaction is reported to be around $12 per mbtu on free-on-board basis.
