The UK’s South Hook liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal is scheduled to receive its first cargo of 2020.

Shipping data released by the Milford Haven Port Authority shows the 214,198 cbm Al Kharsaah LNG carrier is scheduled to dock at the South Hook LNG jetty on January 2, 2020.

The vessel loaded its cargo at Qatar’s Ras Laffan LNG complex.

Natural gas flows from the South Hook LNG terminal to the UK’s national grid on Tuesday morning was around 22.74 mcm per day, according to the data from the National Grid.

The South Hook LNG terminal, owned by Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil, and Total, can provide around 20 percent of Britain’s natural gas requirements.
