Synectics has been contracted to provide a range of surveillance services for a number of oil and gas projects including three LNG floating storage and regasification units (FSRUs).

According to the company’s statement, the scope of work includes the provision of camera solutions to monitor both hazardous and safe area zones.

The FSRUs will utilize a combination of COEX C2000 and C3000 camera stations as part of an end-to-end surveillance solution.

Synectics noted it will provide factory acceptance testing (FAT) at its global operations centre in the UK, with commissioning for the vessels provided by the regional office in Singapore.

The contract also includes a USA deep-water floating platform in the Gulf of Mexico and two very large crude carriers (VLCCs).
