Tepco LNG imports drop in Oct

Japan’s utility Tokyo Electric Power said its imports of LNG in October were at 1.99 million tonnes, down 13 percent compared to 2.29 million tonnes in October of 2013.

The utility used 1.91 million tons of LNG in October compared to 1.99 million tonnes it consumed in October last year.

In April-October period, Tepco bought 13.95 million tonnes and consumed 13.28 million tonnes of LNG.
