South Korea: Two Workers Killed After Fire at HHI Shipyard

A fire broke out yesterday at the Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) shipyard in Ulsan, South Korea, killing two people and injuring two more who were working on the dock, according to local media reports.

Nakilat Adds Three New LNG Vessels to Its Fleet

Nakilat of Qatar has added three new LNG vessels to its fleet through its joint venture Maran Nakilat, which has closed US $807.4m of refinancing provided by Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) and Barwa Bank.

Trio Selected to Ship LNG from Yamal Project

Russia’s Yamal LNG project, operated by Novatek, has reportedly chosen Sovcomflot of Russia, Mitsui OSK of Japan and Teekay LNG of Canada to build tankers worth $5 billion.
