BG: US LNG exports could reach up to 70 mtpa by 2025

LNG player BG Group believes that the US could become an exporter of 60 to 70 mtpa of LNG by 2025, Andrew Walker, the company’s Vice President of Global LNG said.

Quantum, Golar in USD 500 Mln LNG terminal deal

China LNG imports on the rise

China, the world’s biggest energy consumer, imported 9.9 million tons of liquefied natural gas in the first half of 2014, up 18.8 percent compared to a year earlier, customs data showed.

China: ailing shipbuilding sector to get an LNG push

With the goal to restructure the country’s shipbuilding sector that has seen better days and secure its energy supply, Chinese shipyards are aiming high with a planned intake of new orders in the amount of $10 billion, for new LNG carriers over the remainder of the decade.
