TMS Cardiff Gas orders XDF LNG newbuild at HHI, agrees time-charter with Total

TMS Cardiff Gas has agreed a seven-year time charter deal with Total for an XDF LNG carrier it has ordered at the South Korean shipyard Hyundai Heavy Industries.

Philippines receive seven bids for LNG terminal development

The Philippines have received seven proposals for the development of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) project with an estimated cost of $2 billion.

The Gate terminal in the Dutch port of Rotterdam said it had performed the first-ever transshipment of a cargo sourced from the Novatek-operated Yamal LNG project in the Russian Arctic.

GasLog books LNG newbuild at SHI

Monaco-based LNG shipper GasLog has ordered a newbuild 180,000 cubic meter vessel with XDF propulsion from the South Korean shipbuilder Samsung Heavy Industries.

BW takes delivery of its first MEGI LNG carrier

Singapore-based gas shipping giant BW Group said on Friday it took the delivery of the company’s first M-type, Electronically Controlled, Gas Injection (MEGI) LNG vessel.
