Technip scores Petronas FLNG contract

French LNG engineer Technip informed it has been awarded an engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning contract by Malaysia’s Petronas for the tie-in of PFLNG1 facility to KAKG-A platform in Kanowit field.

BP charters two LNG newbuilds

“K” Line LNG Shipping (UK) said that the joint-venture consortium of K-LNG and Chandris (Hellas) has entered into long-term time charter contracts with BP for two LNG carrier newbuildings.

Shell-BG deal secures final nod from Brazil

LNG player BG said that the $70 billion takeover offer for the company to be made by Royal Dutch Shell has received unconditional merger clearance from the Brazilian competition authority (CADE).

UK LNG bunkering gains momentum

Shell has recently bunkered with liquefied natural gas two SABIC-chartered vessels Coral Star & Coral Sticho in Teesport, United Kingdom.

Zeebrugge terminal to re-export LNG cargo

The 155,000 cbm Seishu Maru LNG carrier is scheduled to arrive at Belgium’s Zeebrugge terminal from Sagunto in Spain on August 1, port data reveals.
