Apache exiting Wheatstone and Kitimat LNG projects

Houston-based Apache said on Thursday that it intends to completely exit Australia’s Wheatstone and Canada’s Kitimat LNG projects to focus on drilling onshore in North America.

LNG Limited buys North American project

Liquefied Natural Gas Limited said that it has significantly expanded its presence in the North American LNG sector by signing an agreement to acquire 100% of Bear Head LNG Corporation from a unit of Anadarko for US$11.0 million.

Darwin LNG flares boil-off

Darwin LNG said that flaring occurred between Monday 28 July and Tuesday 29 July at the Darwin LNG terminal as part of operations of the Wickham Point facility in Darwin, Northern Territory.

ConocoPhillips exits Brass LNG project

ConocoPhillips said that it has transferred its 17 percent shareholder interest in Nigeria’s Brass LNG Limited, along with all of its related interests, to the remaining shareholders of Brass LNG.

EU sanctions threaten Yamal LNG project

European Union proposed sanctions against Russia targeting areas of access to capital markets, defence, dual-use goods and sensitive technologies threaten the Yamal LNG project run by Novatek.
