KBJ joint venture wins Jordan Cove LNG EPC contract

KBJ, a joint venture comprised of Kiewit Energy Group, Black & Veatch Construction and JGC US Projects has been selected by Jordan Cove LNG to engineer and build the LNG export terminal in Coos Bay, Oregon.

BREAKING: Qatar to boost LNG production to 100 Mtpa

State-owned Qatar Petroleum said Tuesday it aims to raise Qatar’s LNG production from 77 million to 100 million tons per year.

LNG Limited secures $1.5 billion for Magnolia LNG project

Liquefied Natural Gas Limited said it has agreed on an amended and restated Magnolia LNG equity agreement with Stonepeak Partners securing a $1.5 billion commitment.

Update: Shell’s Prelude FLNG on way to Australia

Shell’s giant Prelude FLNG facility has recently left the Samsung Heavy Industries’ Geoje shipyard in South Korea where it was built, bound for waters offshore Western Australia.

CB&I bags Calcasieu Pass LNG storage tanks job

Texas-based LNG engineer CB&I has been awarded a contract by Venture Global LNG for the engineering, procurement and construction of two LNG storage tanks for the company’s Calcasieu Pass export facility located in Southwest Louisiana.
