Samsung Heavy scores FLNG trio from Shell

Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) of South Korea has secured an order worth about US$ 4.7 billion for three floating LNG vessels from Royal Dutch Shell.

Donggi Senoro produces first LNG

Indonesia’s Donggi Senoro LNG facility has started producing first liquefied natural gas during last week, according to local media reports.

Woodside: Browse FLNG enters FEED

Australia’s Woodside, operator of the Browse FLNG joint venture, said on Wednesday that an agreement has been reached to enter the front-end engineering and design (FEED) phase for the proposed development.

LNG player Cheniere, based in Houston, has reportedly sold its first spot LNG cargo last week.

Exmar LNG formed

Belgium’s Exmar, Flex LNG and Geveran Trading, a John Fredriksen controlled company, have agreed to join forces in a $2.3 billion move, creating Exmar LNG, a major independent LNG infrastructure player.
